PTA is first and foremost, an advocacy group.  We urge all of our officers, parents, staff and administrators to to take a few minutes to read the following statement from the Michigan PTA.  Please follow up with your elected officials – with a phone call, email or a letter.  Let them know how you feel about current legislation regarding education in Michigan and how it affects all children.

We agree with the Michigan PTA: “…that every child deserves a quality education regardless of their race, ethnicity or the zip code in which they reside.”
